Visa Requirements

US Citizen

For a stay of less than 90 days, US citizens do not need a visa for tourist or business travel to this country, but a valid US Passport with 6 months remaining is required.

Non-US Citizen

Tourist Visa

A valid, signed US passport. The passport must have at least 6 months remaining after the completion of your stay in Georgia, and contain at least one blank visa page.

1. Fully completed and signed Georgia Visa Application
2.  Passport photograph
3. Copy of flight itinerary or airline tickets.
4. An authenticated letter of invitation from a Georgian citizen or organization based in the Georgian Republic. The official Invitation from foreign organizations based in the Georgian Republic, must be confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Georgian Republic.
5. Proof of valid US visa status (ie, a copy of the front and back of the green card or original I-94 card with valid US visa in passport).

Business Visa

A valid, signed US passport. The passport must have at least 6 months remaining after the completion of your stay in Georgia, and contain at least one blank visa page.

• Two (2) fully completed and signed Georgia Visa Application
• Passport photograph
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter from travel agent
• A business letter of introduction and financial responsibility is required to be typed on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Georgia, Visa Section, Washington, DC. This letter must be signed by a company officer other than the traveler, and should:
  1. state the nature of business to be performed;
  2. include the name and address of the company to be visited;
  3. guarantee sufficient financial support during visit; and
  4. guarantee return transportation to the US for the applicant.

Visa Information

The visa is usually issued for a single entry for a period of 2 months from date of issue, provided the passport remains valid. For a Multiple entry visa for 6 months or for one year take at least three weeks to issue.
