Visa Requirements
Tourist or Business Visa
- A valid, signed US passport. The passport must have at least 6 months remaining after the completion of your stay in Guinea, and contain at least one blank visa page.
- Two (2) fully completed and signed Guinea Visa Application
- Two (2) passport photographs
- Copy of Round-Trip Airline Tickets
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
- Non-US Citizens must include a copy of a US Green Card with the application Original US Alien Registration Card (Green Card) or valid US visa stamped in passport with original I-94 Card.
- Copy of Round-Trip Airline Tickets
- Letter of invitation from host in Guinea Republic, or a letter from employer explaining purpose of the trip, reference to be visited, and guaranteeing financial support A business letter of introduction and financial responsibility is required to be typed on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Guinea Republic, Visa Section, Washington, DC. This letter must be signed by a company officer other than the traveler, and should:
- state the nature of business to be performed;
- include the name and address of the company to be visited;
- guarantee sufficient financial support during visit; and
- guarantee return transportation to the US for the applicant.
Fees
In addition to the standard Iratex fees, the following consular fees apply:
US Citizens | $45.00 per visa |
Non-US Citizens | $55.00 per visa |
Visa Information
The Guinea visa is usually valid for two months from date issued, for a stay not to exceed 30 days. There is no “tourist” visa for the Guinea Republic; applicants must have an invitation. A Multiple entry visa is available at no additional charge, upon specific request in form of written letter
