Visa Requirements
Tourist Visa
- A valid, signed US passport. The passport must have at least 6 months remaining after the completion of your stay in Mali, and contain at least one blank visa page.
- Two (2) fully completed and signed Mali Visa Application
- Two (2) passport photographs
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
- Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent
Business Visa
- A valid, signed US passport. The passport must have at least 6 months remaining after the completion of your stay in Mali, and contain at least one blank visa page.
- Two (2) fully completed and signed Mali Visa Application
- Two (2) passport photographs
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
- Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent
- A business letter of introduction and financial responsibility is required to be typed on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Mali, Visa Section, Washington, DC. This letter must be signed by a company officer other than the traveler, and should:
- state the nature of business to be performed;
- include the name and address of the company to be visited;
- guarantee sufficient financial support during visit; and
- guarantee return transportation to the US for the applicant.
Fees
In addition to the standard Iratex fees, the following consular fees apply:
3 Months – Single Entry | $80.00 per visa |
3 Months – Multiple Entry | $110.00 per visa |
6 Months – Multiple Entry | $200.00 per visa |
12 Months – Multiple Entry | $370.00 per visa |
48 Hour Rush Processing | $10.00 additional |
Visa Information
Your application will be checked and hand carried to the Embassy, and is usually processed in 4 business days.
The Mali tourist or business visa is usually valid for three months from date issued, for a stay not to exceed 30 days.
